Durable and weatherproof softshell fabric overlays on the shoulders and elbows pay homage to early fleece styles and reinforce areas vulnerable to abrasion and thinning. Zippered handwarmer pockets help thaw frozen fingers, and a snug, grown-on hood adds extra protection on wind-blasted plateaus. Designed around an Alpine Fit and with excellent stretch, the Highpile Hooded Jacket layers well while allowing for a complete range of movement.
