Key Points:

A: 1250ft (380m)

G: Moderate

Date: 21st June

Time: 10:30

Start: The Outdoor Depot

New for 2017 - around 8 miles (13km) long on some of the lesser trodden footpaths and bridleways through Ragdon, Chelmick and Hope Bowdler and over Ragleth Hill. The walk should take around 4-5hours.

After leaving Church Stretton, we will walk to the picturesque village of Hope Bowdler. From there we will use some of the lesser walked paths in the area and follow an old waterway of pools, that used to feed a mill at Chelmick. We will then use some permissive paths through interesting farmland. The next part will climb steeply to Ragleth Hill, which offers splendid views of the county. The view over to the Long Mynd is particularly interesting. We will then return, through fields, coppices and porcine topiary, back to Church Stretton.

Please refer to Info Page for general notes about the walks.
