Start:The Square

This excellent and rewarding walk is a great way to see what the Long Mynd has to offer!

A circular walk of at least 10miles, it starts by heading down to Little Stretton, then ascends the Long Mynd via the wonderfully tranquil Ashes Hollow. On reaching Pole Bank (the summit of the Long Mynd) you will be treated to fantastic 360° views. We then head north on a section of the Shropshire Way, before heading round to Jonathan's Rock, another delightful spot for a short break. The return from here to Church Stretton takes us round Novers Hill, with a final impressive viewpoint. Good footwear and a packed lunch are essential for this walk likely to be around 5 - 6hours in total. Be aware that although most of the walk is easy going, there are several steep sections, up and down.

Please refer to Info Page for general notes about the walks.
