Purchase Contract

All purchases made on this web site are governed by these Terms and Conditions. Please check prior to each order to ensure that you understand the precise terms and conditions applicable to your purchase. 


You will receive an order confirmation email which will include an order reference number, you will need this to track your order and use as proof of purchase, so please keep this safe.

Prices

All prices are in UK Pounds and are inclusive of VAT where applicable, at the current rate. The price of the goods will be as quoted on the web site at the time you confirm your order (usually by clicking the "checkout" button) subject only to any inadvertent technical error for which we will not be liable. If you subsequently amend your order, the prices charged will be those applicable to the amended item(s) at the time that the amended order is confirmed. Please note that as promotions are offered for a limited period of time subsequent amendments to your order may mean that certain promotions are no longer being offered.

The price of the goods does not include a charge for delivery. Delivery to the UK is free for orders over £50.

Availability

Although we endeavour to hold stock of all the items advertised for sale on our site this cannot be guaranteed so that by acknowledging receipt of your order we are not creating a binding contract to supply what you have ordered but which we do not have in stock. 

In the event of unavailability for whatever reason, we will advise you of our position when we receive your order and we will await your subsequent instructions.

Delivery

Orders will normally be dispatched within 14 days. Normal postal lead times are: UK destinations 5-7 days, Europe 7-10 days, all other areas worldwide 10-14 days, but please allow up to 21 days for delivery. We will always do our best to inform you about any delay.

Returns and exchanges

If you are not satisfied with a product or you have selected the wrong size then please contact us at sales@theoutdoordepot.co.uk or call us on 01694724293 so we can offer an exchange or a refund. Please note goods will only be refunded if they are in an unopened, unworn and in a condition for re sale. The customer is responsible for return postage. Goods must be received back in store within 28 days of the original delivery date. 


Footwear returns:

Buying footwear on line can be risky so we always recommend coming in to our specialist store in Church Stretton, Shropshire, to take advantage of our free custom boot fitting service. Please note we cannot accept returns of footwear that have been worn outside. All items must be returned as new, boxed and in a re-saleable condition with all original labels attached.


Footwear advice:

If you are unable to come to our store to take advantage of our custom boot fitting service the following advice may help you check you have selected the correct size. Whilst stood up with the laces undone, push your feet forward in the boot until you feel your toe at the end. If you can easily fit your index finger down the back of the heel the boot size is correct. Fit can be adjusted to an extent by the tightness of the laces. Wear the boots indoors on the carpet for as long as possible to satisfy yourself the fit is correct before you go outdoors. Remember that feet can expand over a quarter of a size during a full day of walking. Please note that manufacturers use different foot lasts, materials and shapes which make footwear fit differently from one model to another. We are happy to exchange boxed footwear which have not been worn outside and have the original tags etc and that can be resold as new.


Tent important buying advice:

We recommend that you buy your tent in plenty of time and that you practice erecting and taking down the tent prior to your trip. This is vital as you may need to put your tent up in extreme conditions so need to be familiar with with it. 


Warranty:

All products purchased from us come with a manufacturers warranty of 1 year unless otherwise stated on the item. The warranty excludes fault caused by accident, neglect or misuse of your purchase. If you find a fault with your new product please contact us at sales@theoutdoordepot.co.uk detailing your issues. Items should be returned in a clean, dry condition and should be free from mud and dirt. We regret that we will be unable to process items that do not meet this criteria and we will return the items to you. Once received by us faulty items will be returned to our suppliers and tested to confirm the fault. From there we will contact you to discuss the findings and, if authorised by the supplier, arrange an exchange. Please note that sending items back to suppliers may take up to 14 working days.
